[세계뉴스 윤소라 기자] 재단법인 성동문화재단(이사장 정원오)은 폭염으로 지친 시민들을 위해 오는 24일까지 ‘눈이번쩍 왕십리’란 타이틀로 무료전시를 진행한다. 

왕십리 민자역사 비트플랙스 4층 갤러리허브에서 열리는 이번 전시회는 조각과 일러스트 분야에서 활동하는 국내 저명작가와 신진작가들을 초청하여 약 40여점의 작품을 선보인다.

주요 전시작품으로는 한진섭 작가의 ‘행복하여라’, 신한철 작가의 ‘증식’, 김근배 작가의 ‘도시속의 여정’, 김세진 작가의 ‘양들을 부탁해’등 다양한 분야의 작가들의 작품을 만나볼 수 있다.

성동문화재단 관계자는 “여름방학을 맞아 가족 단위 관람객들에게 현대미술 작품을 자유롭게 감상하고 복잡한 일상 속에서 잠시나마 여유로움을 찾을 수 있는 기회가 되길 바란다”며 “관람료는 무료로 누구나 관람할 수 있으니 많은 관심을 갖고 찾아와 주시기 바란다”고 말했다.
